History of Homeopathy

Homeopathy was discovered by a famous qualified German physician named as Mr. Samuel Hahnemann in 1976. He was not satisfied with the medical system available for his time. He was looking for a method which reduces the harmful side effects associated with medicines. However, he made an experiment on himself by using cinchona bark and he was getting the surprising result from the experiment. He came to know that quinine derived from the bark of cinchona treats malaria because it produces the same symptoms of malaria in a healthy person. This concept acted as a base of homeopathy. Small concentrations of a particular toxin can treat the same symptoms it causes in higher doses. This concept is known as ‘like cures like’.
